During November 2018 a business mission to South Africa on industrial wastewater was organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Water Partnership. YUNIKO was invited to the business promoter and liaison for many enterprises from the Dutch water sector. This mission was aimed at Co-creating Water Re-Use and Efficiency for Industries in South Africa.
YUNIKO’s job was to prepare and execute a scoping mission to match general leads and opportunities in the South African B2B industrial water re-use sector with solutions from the Netherlands water sector. This was done through on-site technical scoping of potential solutions, creating connections with South African problem owners, showcasing potential solutions during WISA 2018 and an in-depth matchmaking trajectory. The match-making was an initiative of the Partners for Water Programme, implemented by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Netherlands Water Partnership (www.netherlandswaterpartnership.nl), and supported by the Netherlands Embassy in South Africa (www.netherlandsandyou.nl).
YUNIKO has led a business mission with 8 Dutch water companies. Many visits to and meetings with partners from South Africa wereorganized.
